Marijuana and Pipe Found at High School

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the  from Wednesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

  • At 1:07 p.m., two officers noticed a male walking on Lowell Road. He then laid down inside the bus stop and then started walking again toward the wood line. Police tried to talk to him and he attempted to urinate.

Thursday, Jan. 12

  • At 11:54 p.m., the assistant principal of the reported that he found marijuana and a pipe in the school. Police confiscated the items.
  • At 4:24 p.m., an unknown caller reported that she was unable to return an item at and wanted police to intervene so the employee would not continue giving her a hard time.
  • At 6:23 p.m., the manager from reported a past assault. A North Reading resident reported that a male threatened him with a knife.
