A Community Garden Is Being Proposed For Mattera Cabin In Town Of Reading On January 5

The Mattera Community Garden would provide space for Reading residents to grow vegetables and flowers, meet other gardeners, and beautify the slope just south of the cabin. Residents would be eligible to rent plots starting this year, with 12-15 plots available. The garden’s exploratory group has worked with Town of Reading staff to develop a preliminary plan. There will be a short presentation, followed by Q&A.
