Cookies and Cream Bakery Opens on Haven Street

A couple from Alabama moved to Reading to open the bakery.

Every morning Zohreh Dadfar bakes cakes, parfaits, cookies and more in her new bakery on Haven Street. She makes everything from scratch and uses fresh ingredients to create her tasty treats.

Cookies and Cream, located where used to be, was opened by husband and wife team Feraidoon and Zohreh Dadfar who moved from Alabama about a month ago to open the bakery.

"My wife makes everything here," Feraidoon Dadfar said. She has a degree in psychology, but her passion is baking, he said. She became certified in baking after attending a school in Spain.
