Details on Changes at Thomson Country Club, North Reading

Welcome to You Ask... Patch Answers where we answer readers questions. We recently received questions about the changes at the Thomson Country Club. Patch readers want to find out more about the facility, memberships and restaurants. Here's your answer.

Owner of Teresa's Italian Eatery in Middleton Nick Yebba, Sr. is taking over the restaurant, function facility, pool, tennis court and driving range at the Thomson Country Club. Yebba purchased parts of the club, meaning everything except for the golf club itself, for $2.2 million and is doing $3 million in renovations, he said.

The pool and tennis courts will be open next summer and a membership will be needed for those. You will not need a membership for the restaurants, Theresa’s Prime and Grill 19, and there is not a minimum monthly spending requirement at either eatery. They are both open to the public.

Memberships to golf will be separate, and Yebba is not in charge of those. He does own the driving range, but is unsure of how he is going to handle that at this point, he said. 

He hopes to open before Memorial Day next year and wants the club to have a "resort feel," he said. Please check in with Patch for more details on the pool and tennis court memberships and pricing as they become available.
