The town said that residents are experiencing delays in trash and recycling pickup.

READIN, MA — Due to severe heat and inclement weather-related challenges trash and recycling pickups for the Town of Reading are experiencing delays.
Crews are working to complete remaining Tuesday routes today and will continue with Wednesday pickups as possible. Some areas may not be serviced until tomorrow. We appreciate your patience and understanding as Republic Services works to get back on schedule.
