Reading Conservation Land Nature Walks

Nature walks will be held in Reading conservation land, with displays at the Mattera cabin at 1481 Main St.  on Saturday, April 21, to mark Earth Day, which is Sunday, April 22.

The town’s Climate Advisory Committee, formerly the Advisory Committee on Cities for Climate Protection, will coordinate events there between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The committee’s mission is “to achieve environmental, economic and societal sustainability by raising public awareness and influencing the community, including its government, to reduce energy use and foster environmental stewardship” cost-effectively.
