Reading Cultural Council Reception For Past Grant Recipients

The Reading Cultural Council will be holding a reception for past grant recipients at the RCTV studio on Main Street in Reading on Monday May 14th at 7:30 p.m.

Local State Representatives and Senators who help fund the Massachusetts Cultural Council work will be in attendance.

A short video featuring local recipients that was premiered at the Massachusetts Cultural Council Annual Meeting will be on display along with the plaque that the Reading Council won at the Annual Meeting.

The Reading Cultural Council is an appointed group who respond to applications from arts and cultural organizations for grant funding from the state. Last year they awarded $4600.00 in funds distributed to twelve different organizations in Reading.

Applications for grant funding are available starting in the fall.
