NORTH READING SCHOOL DISTRICT GROUNDBREAKING
Where/when: North Reading Middle School, Saturday at 10 a.m. 
Why go: Attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new middle/high school and enjoy free cider and donuts after the presentation.

FALL WINE FESTIVAL
Where/when: Busa Wine & Spirits, Saturday at 4 p.m.
Why go: Sip wine, snack and get a good deal on wines that will be specially priced for the event.

LETTICE AND LOVAGE
Where/when: North Reading High School, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.  
Why go: Enjoy the play Lettice and Lovage performed by the NRHS Masquers. 

FALL-IDAY FAIR
Where/when: 95 Woburn St, Reading, Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. 
Why go: Church of the Good Shepherd hosts their annual fair with creative craft items, jewelry, baked goods and more.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE
Where/when: North Reading Masonic Lodge, Saturday at 9 a.m.
Why go: Donate blood and then enjoy light breakfast that will be served to all donors. They are also collecting new white socks that will be shipped to troops serving overseas.
