Five Things You Need to Know Today: April 9

Your guide to events and happenings in Reading and North Reading today.

Today is Monday, April 9. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 59 degrees today and drop to 41 in the evening. Expect partly cloudy skies.

2. Senior RCTV Tour and Movie Event. RCTV is having an Easter Parade from the to and a special showing of Irving Berlin's classic movie Easter Parade. Meet at the Senior Center at 12:45 p.m. wearing your finest Easter Bonnet or Top Hat. Prizes will be awarded for best bonnet and top hat and refreshments will be served. If it rains, meet at RCTV at 1:15 p.m.

3. North Reading School Committee. The will meet at  at 7 p.m. An MSBA/SSBC update and budget forum are both items on the agenda.

4. North Reading Community Chorale. Do you love to sing? The at  at 7:30 p.m. Any experience level is welcome.

5. RMHS baseball fundraiser. Stop by  between 5 and 10 p.m. and 20 percent of all pizza sales (delivery and eat-in) will go to the Baseball team.
