Flags Stolen From Graves at Riverside Cemetery

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the from Monday through Tuesday. The information is open to the public.
Monday, April 9
- At 7:20 p.m., a Main Street resident reported that someone damaged his brand new trailer. There was a rock thrown through the window and some rocks are stuck in the vinyl siding.
Tuesday, April 10

- At 10:23 a.m., a Peabody Street resident reported issues with the phone lines in front of his residence. Police notified Verizon who will take care of the issue.
- At 10:38 a.m., a Chestnut Street resident reported his son missing and said that he did not come home the night before. Police are investigating and notified the Department of Children and Families.
- At 11:07 a.m., a Main Street resident reported a missing teenager. The resident reported that the teen left on a bike and did not return. The resident filed a missing person report. Police are investigating and notified the Department of Children and Families.
- At 12:17 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Elm Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 12:21 p.m., a resident walked into the police department and reported that someone stole flags from a grave.
- At 1 p.m., a caller reported that while taking out the trash a vehicle came within a few feet of hitting her.
- At 1:29 p.m., a caller reported that about 50 flags were removed from .
- At 2:48 p.m., a caller reported seeing a missing runaway at Clarke Park. Police were able to locate the teen and his mother picked him up at the police station.
- At 5:45 p.m., a Leclair Street resident reported that someone stole unactivated cell phones from his house.
