Members of the Woburn Police Department arrested four men following separate investigations on charges of sexual conduct for a fee. According to a release, on March 15 members of the Woburn Police Department working with members Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force conducted a prostitution sting at local hotels. The investigation included posting online advertisements for female prostitutes and a female contact to set up the transactions. As a result of the investigations police arrested the following suspects: Steven M. Puglielli, 40, of 34 Heather Drive, Reading. Arrested on a charge of sexual conduct for a fee. James C. Barr, 50, of 5 Cedar Ridge Road, Bedford. Arrested on a charge of sexual conduct for a fee. Frank H. Slaunwhite, 42, of 66 Houghton St., Woburn. Arrested on a charge of sexual conduct for a fee. Alexander L. Halsey, 40, of 4 Arlington Road, Apartment 3R, Woburn. Arrested on a charge of sexual conduct for a fee. In each case the men entered a hotel room after discussing paying for sexual conduct and put down money for the transaction. All funds were recovered for evidence.
