Host Families Needed in North Reading for Students From Spain

Attend a meeting at noon on Friday, April 27 in the high school auditorium for more information.

The following was submitted by Amy St. Arnaud:

Students from Spain are coming to the North Reading area in July and
Spanish teacher, Amy St. Arnaud, is looking for host families! This
is a great opportunity to bond as a family as you learn about a new
culture and share your culture with the students.

Most families find hosting an exchange student to be a very special experience for the whole family. No knowledge of Spanish is necessary but if your
student is studying Spanish, this is a great way to reinforce the
importance of learning a foreign language as well as show how fun it
is! Activities will be planned that you will be able to enjoy with
your student. Working families make great host families.

There will be a meeting at noon on Friday, April 27th at the high
school auditorium. This is during "power block" and all
students are invited to attend. (See Mrs. St. Arnaud for a pass.) A
representative from Spain will join Mrs. St. Arnaud to talk about this
wonderful opportunity. Please follow up with Mrs. St. Arnaud if you
have any questions and here is a website with more information.
