Turn to Patch. Check in with us in the morning to find out if school will be open. We'll post a bulletin and send out a breaking news alert if school is cancelled. We will also post the news on Facebook and Twitter. Haven't signed up for alerts yet? Go to our homepage and click on "Patch newsletter" to sign up.
Superintendent Kathleen Willis will make the decision before 6 a.m. and send an Alert Now message to parents via email or text. You can also check the North Reading Public School District's website to see if they have anything posted or call the recorded message telephone line: 978-664-7810.

According to the District's website, the following television and radio stations will have cancellation information:
- Channel 4 WBZ-TV
- Channel 5 WCVB-TV
- Channel 7 WHDH-TV
- Channel 25 WFXT-TV
- Radio AM 1030
