student Janelle Yull, along with 206 of the finest voices from 19 schools in the Massachusetts Northeast School District, performed at the 54th Annual Northeastern Senior District Concert at Lowell High School. The concert, held by the Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA), took place on January 7. Each participant was recommended by their school and competed to perform at the concert. The MMEA advocates the advancement of music education throughout the schools in the Commonwealth. "I loved being in an environment where people love music as much as I do. It helped me grow and appreciate so many talented individuals," Yull said. Yull starred in the high school Masquers rendition of last November and will also perform in .
