Man Reportedly Assaulted in North Reading

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the  from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 11:12 a.m. Friday, Robin Capone, 44, of 3 Tarbox Lane, was arrested for a warrant.

Friday, April 13

  • At 1:14 p.m., there was a small kitchen fire that was confined to a small oven at China Cuisine.
  • At 5:38 p.m., a caller reported a man driving a tan vehicle erratically on Main Street.
  • At 8:59 p.m., a 56-year-old North Reading man was held in protective custody and was eventually released to his father.
  • At 11:03 p.m., a caller reported erratic operation of a motor vehicle on Haverhill Street.

  • At 7:46 p.m., a resident requested information about turning in old military items. He was referred to the State Police.
  • At 11:56 a.m., a caller reported that his vehicle's window was damaged on Marblehead Street.
  • At 1:36 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.

Sunday, April 15

  • At 2:18 p.m., a caller reported a minor motor vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 4:58 p.m., a caller reported that a customer at Dairy Queen claimed that he was assaulted. The caller stated that the man cut her in the line and claimed to be assaulted and demanded that an employee call the police. He then left in a vehicle.
  • At 9:08 p.m., a caller reported that a car was smashing mailboxes on Marshall Street. 
  • At 10:49 p.m., a Spruce Road resident reported that someone drove over her mailbox.
