A communication from Chuck Robinson, chair of the Reading School Committee:This memo is to inform the Reading School Community that the School Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 1 has been cancelled. The main agenda item for this meeting was to review the Superintendent's Evaluation. With the Superintendent out on personal leave, we will be postponing this agenda item to a future meeting date. Also factoring into this decision was the fact that two School Committee members were unable to attend our August 1 meeting. The School Committee will meet next on Thursday, August 29.
