Arrests
At 9:31 p.m. on Sunday, James Curley, 36, of 1 Greenbriar Drive in North Reading was arrested for assault and battery on Greenbriar Drive.

Friday, Dec. 2
- At 5:50 p.m., an unknown caller reported a fight in the parking lot of .
- At 11:14 p.m., a Harvest Lane resident reported that a group of kids rang his doorbell and ran away laughing.

- At 9:09 a.m., an unknown resident brought two hypodermic needles to the police station. He found them in front of the Wayside Apartments on Main Street.
- At 4:24 p.m., a Lowell Road resident reported hypodermic needles on the ground near the . Police diposed of the needles.
Sunday, Dec. 4
- At 9:08 a.m., an unknown caller reported a car accident on Haverhill Street. The accident involved a car and a deer. The driver had minor injuries.
- At 11:58 a.m., an unknown caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Park Street.
- At 2:41 p.m., a North Reading resident reported credit card fraud. She left her credit card at and an employee used the card to buy a $100 Dunkin' Donuts gift certificate. The employee returned the credit card and is responsible for the $100 charge.
- At 10:05 p.m., an Elm Street resident reported that teens rang his doorbell, and when he opened the door they were mooning him from a car.
