Reading Announces Change To Trash, Recycling Pickup Schedule
The town said the schedule for trash and recycling pickup will be changed due to inclement weather.
READING, MA — The town has announced there will be a trash and recycling collection delay due to the winter storm.
The Town of Reading issued the following statement on Facebook on Wednesday:
"Due to the timing of the forecasted snowstorm for tomorrow, Republic Services has notified the Town that there will be no trash or recycling collection for tomorrow, Thursday, February 6 and that all collection will be delayed by 1-day for the remainder of the week.

"Thursday’s collection will now occur on Friday. Friday’s normal collection will now occur on Saturday. Please make sure to bring in any trash or recycling containers during tomorrow’s storm to ensure that they don’t impede any plowing operation."
