Reading Coronavirus Update: Cases Rise To 53
The town is collecting gift cards to benefit the Reading Food Pantry and set up email addresses and a hotline to offer support.
READING, MA — The number of positive cases of the coronavirus in Reading continues to rise. As of Tuesday, April 7, there were 53 confirmed cases in the town, according to health officials' latest numbers.
The town this week set up three secure dropbox locations where residents can donate gift cards to the Reading Food Pantry to support local families in need. Contributors are asked to buy gift cards that are $25 or less in denomination from local grocery stores and pharmacies.

- Reading Town Hall (Side door facing Parking Lot)
- Superintendent’s Office (Main door)
