Reading Hit-And-Run Driver Fled Crash On Three Wheels: Police
Police are looking for a truck that continued driving after losing a wheel in a crash near the Cumberland Farms rotary Thursday morning.

READING, MA — Police are seeking the driver in a hit-and-run crash in Reading early Thursday. The crash happened around 8 a.m. on Salem Street near the Cumberland Farms rotary, police said.
Responding officers found a badly damaged vehicle belonging to the victim. Witnesses told police the other car ran a stop sign, causing the crash, and fled the scene missing a rear wheel. The truck drove down Bay State Road into Wakefield, eventually turning onto Chestnut Street in Lynnfield, police said.
The truck is described as a black, mid-2000s model Dodge Ram with two doors. It will have "substantial" damage to the driver's side area.
