Reading To Hold Memorial Day Remembrance Events

The town has released a timeline for events including the parade and services at local cemeteries.

READING, MA — The town will hold Memorial Day Remembrance 2025 on Monday, May 26.

"Please join the Town of Reading in honoring 250 years since the start of the American Revolution and in remembrance of those who gave their lives in all wars," according to the town's website.

Here is a timeline for the parade and cemetery services:

  • 9 a.m.: Parade begins at the American Legion on Ash Street. All veterans are welcome to attend.
  • 9:15 a.m.: Services at Laurel Hill Cemetery
  • 10:45 a.m.: Services at Forest Glen Cemetery
  • 11:30 a.m.: Services at Charles Lawn Cemetery
  • Noon: Services at Wood End Cemetery
