Reading Parking Ban In Effect During Upcoming Snowstorm
The town is implementing its overnight parking ban due to the amount of snow forecasted for Wednesday night's storm.

READING, MA — The town's parking ban will be in effect during this week's snowstorm. The Reading Department of Public Works said plowable snow is forecasted Wednesday night into Thursday.
The ban will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. starting Thursday, Dec. 17. It will be in place until further notice, DPW said.
This year, Reading is piloting a modified version of its winter parking ban. Instead of banning overnight parking altogether, a ban will only be implemented on nights when plowable snow is expected.
