Reading Plans COVID-19, Flu Vaccine Clinic

The clinic will offer both series and bivalent boosters at Reading Memorial High School, as well as flu shots.

READING, MA — Reading community members will have another chance to get their COVID-19 primary vaccines or vaccine boosters this week at a planned vaccine clinic in town.

The event is set for Dec. 9 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the cafeteria at Reading Memorial High School.

Town officials announced the clinic last week. Vaccine recipients are asked to preregister and bring their insurance cards with them for their selected appointment.

The clinic is hosted by VaxinateRx, a vaccine administration service.

The clinic will offer Moderna and Pfizer series vaccines to those who have not yet received their initial shots. New bivalent boosters are also available. The clinic will additionally provide flu shots to any who need them.

The Pfizer vaccine is open to individuals older than three years of age.

Individuals must be 18 to receive a Moderna shot.

Anyone older than three is eligible for a flu shot.
