Reading Police To Host R.A.D. Class For Women

RAD classes will run across four nights next month, teaching women various self-defense tactics and techniques.

READING, MA — Reading Police will soon host a Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) class for women in town.

The course runs across four evenings on the following dates:

  • Monday, Sept. 19: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m
  • Wednesday, Sept. 21: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m
  • Monday, Sept. 26: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m
  • Wednesday, Sept. 28: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m

R.A.D. programs aim to teach women awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance techniques in addition to various hands-on self-defense and martial arts tactics.
