Stephanie Filipski, a SimpliSafe engineer and longtime Reading volunteer, recently joined the board of the Library Foundation.

READING, MA — The Reading Public Library Foundation recently welcomed Stephanie Filipski to its board of directors. Filipski, a principal quality engineer at SimpliSafe, has over 20 years' experience as a manufacturing and quality engineer.

The Foundation said she will bring a deep scientific background, keen management skills, and focus on execution that will be a strong asset it continues to grow and expand during these uncertain times. Filipski also brings a "boundless energy and positive attitude to all matters she takes on," the Foundation said.

Filipski is a longtime volunteer in Reading, previously serving on the board of Reading Youth Hockey and as a frequent volunteer in schools and sports. A native of Michigan, she has lived in Reading for nearly a decade with her husband Kevin and their two sons.
