Reading Teen Arrested with Gun, Drugs at RMHS
Eric LaTalien was arrested for various charges and held on $5,000 bail.

A Reading teen was arrested Thursday after he reportedly took a replica gun to Reading Memorial High School.
Eric LaTalien, 17, of 25 Highland St., in Reading, was arrested for carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds, possession of an air soft pistol under the age of 18, threatening to commit a crime, trespassing, intimidation of a witness, possession of alcohol and possession of a class C substance.
were told by school officials Thursday that a former student was on school property the day before carrying what looked like a hand gun. Police investigated and found that the gun was a replica air soft gun of a real Sig Sauer hand gun.

According to police, LaTalien was arrested and held on $5,000 bail. He will be arraigned Friday at Woburn District Court. Police worked with the Middlesex District Attorney's office and school officials on this potentially dangerous situation.
