Two cars were involved in a head-on collision Tuesday on Haverhill Street in Reading near the North Reading line. The accident caused one car to flip over, and sent one person to the hospital, according to police. According to scanner reports, the accident involved a mother and child, and the mother was trapped in the overturned vehicle. One party was transported to the hospital after the accident. did not identify the victims or release details about their condition.
