Save the Date: Chamber’s 5th Annual Women Celebrating Fund-raiser

The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Women Celebrating fund-raiser on Wednesday, May 10, in the ballroom of the Boston/Woburn Hilton Hotel from 6- 9:30 pm. The annual event is an expo that features local businesses.  This year’s feature three fashion shows 30 local exhibitors and 8 restaurant/food stations. 

The festive mood of the fun-filled evening is set by music and DJ services supplied by Music on the Move.  The event offers a free photo booth sponsored by Reading Co-operative Bank in which attendees are invited to have an instant picture taken with their friends at no charge.  Along with the staged events many exhibitors will have items for sale and offer massages, minute manicures, product samples, discount coupons and demonstrations.  Premier sponsors of the event are Aine’s Boutique, Burbank Y, Lumina Salon, Kathi Spurr, CFP®, Reading Gymnastics Academy, and The Savings Bank.

We owe a lot to our premier sponsors,” commented Chamber President Pat Lee. “Their support is instrumental in the growing success of this event.” 

Women Celebrating ticket price includes access to products and services from local business owners, fashion shows, Festive Foods of North Reading and Reading stations along with cash bars with the specialty martinis. 

The public is most welcome to enjoy Women Celebrating and tickets are available through the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce for $25 in advance or $30 at the door.  Proceeds generated from the event will go to Chamber-sponsored community events such as the Outstanding Citizens Awards and the Holiday Lighting Festivals.
