Suspicious Person Attempted to Steal Car in Reading

The following is an excerpt from the  log from Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Thursday, May 24

• At 3:54 a.m., a Haverhill Street resident reported suspicious individuals who were trying to steal a car from a driveway.
• At 1:20 p.m., a caller reported two white males selling stereo equipment out of the back of a mini van on Main Street.
• At 4:49 p.m., a caller reported that a car struck a building on Walkers Brook Drive.
• At 4:50 p.m., as the result of a motor vehicle stop, an operator was cited for the possession of under one ounce of marijuana.
