Woman Reportedly Drugged and Items Stolen from Her Reading Home

Arrests

At 12:24 p.m. Thursday, Eric L'Italien, 17, of 25 Highland Avenue was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation.

Thursday, April 5

  • At 7:30 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported. 
  • At 11:32 a.m., a card was turned in and a message was left for the owner.
  • At 11:49 a.m., there was a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 12:15 p.m., a caller reported that she had friends stay over the night before and believes that she was drugged and some of her jewelry and medication was taken.
  • At 3:25 p.m., a Green Street resident reported that her purse was taken from her car overnight.
  • At 6:13 p.m., a caller reported that she was being evicted and her landlord was putting her items on the front lawn. An agreement was made and the caller took her items to a storage locker.
  • At 8:17 p.m., a caller reported that her son's $350 skateboard was stolen from outside of .
  • At 9:34 p.m., a caller reported five to six youths were ringing doorbells in the Forest Street area. Police were unable to locate the youths.
  • At 10:45 p.m., a caller reported an erratic operator driving on the wrong side of the road on Main Street.
