1. Today is Films for Preschool Children at the Roslindale Library. 10:30-11:30 a.m. Free. 4238 Washington St. 
2. A very important meeting that will impact the future of Roslindale Village is on Wed., Jan. 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. about the Roslindale Substation project. The meeting will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 4192 Washington St., Roslindale.F
3. On Wednesday individuals ages 18 and older can come to Greater Roslindale Medical and Dental Center at 4199 Washington St. from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for free flu shots while supplies last. Walk-in, no appointment is needed.
4. Boston Public Schools proposed three student assignment plans: A ten-zone option; and two “home-based” options that connect a child’s home address with schools nearby.
5. If you have a clogged sewer or a broken streetlight give the Mayor's 24-hour hotline a call.
