5 Things: Films for Preschool Children; City Hall to Go Coming to Roslindale

1. Today from 10:30-11:30 a.m. is Films for Preschool Children at the Roslindale Library. 
2. On Wednesday Boston City Hall To Go Truck - a moving City Hall office stocked with a full menu of services normally available only downtown will be at the corner of Cummins Highway and Washington St. For most residents, City Hall, Citizens Connect and cityofboston.gov are and will remain the frontline of city service. But for some, travelling downtown to City Hall can be a long way to go. Boston is, after all, a city that stretches across nearly fifty square miles. Still, many people want or need a personal interaction to get direct services, ask a question or get information, so the City of Boston is taking City Hall to them.
3. Register now for Parkway Little League here, the season begins April 13... Also register now for the Parkway Girls Softball League. Registration deadline is March 17, same day as tryouts. .
4. The Boston Flower & Garden Show starts on Wednesday and ends on Sunday. Concern for the environment and enthusiasm for home veggie production have planted “Seeds of Change” in New England’s gardens. This spectacular five-day event features over 20 gardens created by professional landscape designers, nurseries and historic properties embracing innovative new plants, materials and techniques that increase the beauty, bountiful harvest and ecological friendliness of gardens and outdoor spaces. $20 or cheaper.
