Stop by the Roslindale Library tonight from 4 to 7 p.m. for some home-baked goodies and meet the newest staff member.

- Tonight take a shopping break to enjoy a cup of cheer and home-baked goodies. Join the Friends of the Roslindale Library for a Holiday Open House from 4 to 7 p.m. at the library. Also welcome Kate, the newest library staff member. 4238 Washington Street.
- Check out the finalist for Patch's national Deck the House Patch's contest. All you have to do is visit this page to browse a gallery of the finalists and cast your vote beginning Dec. 18. On Dec. 28, we’ll announce the grand prize winner of our Deck the House contest.
- On Thursday will be the season's last Roslindale Village Holiday Wander with more than 25 Roslindale businesses participating in discounts, deals and don't forget about the entertainment throughout the square. 5-9 p.m.
- Also tonight - you can get a headstart on your New Year's Resolution to get in shape. "The Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning, dance fitness-party" is at the Roslindale Community Center at 6:30-7:30 p.m. Each class is $10; Groups of 2 and more, $8 dollars per person. - After electrical safety delays, the George Greenamyer sculpture "Traffic" will be installed this Friday at the Alexander the Great intersection traffic island in Roslindale Village.
