5 Things: Paul Pierce's Celebrity Bowling Tournament Today
On Saturday is Roslindale Village Main Street's annual meeting with a live performance of a musical composition inspired by the "Traffic" sculpture.

- Today is an open house for Pathways to Nature Preschool at the Mass Audubon Nature Center. 500 Walk Hill St., Boston. 6-7:30 p.m. The preschool just opened, and is for ages 2.9 to 6. Come for a tour of the preschool and to find out about the nature curriculum, the preschool teachers and answers to your questions.
- Today is "The Truth Strikes Again" Celebrity Bowling Tournament with Paul Pierce and a bunch of his friends, who I imagine you'd be interested in seeing. Boston Celtics Captain Paul Pierce and New England’s all-star athletes and celebrities hit the lanes to benefit Pierce’s Truth on Health Campaign and FitClub34, a program designed to empower and inspire young people to lead healthier lifestyles. 600 Legacy Place, Dedham. 6 p.m. $75.
- On Saturday is Roslindale Village Main Street's annual meeting - but this isn't your regular old meeting - it has a live music performance and more! Highlights include a dedication ceremony for Roslindale’s new public wind-driven art sculpture, "Traffic," by George Greenamyer and a live performance of a musical composition inspired by “Traffic” and written by Berklee College of Music’s Interdisciplinary Arts Institute students, Andrew Ikenberry and Jason Lim, using “found sound.” 1 p.m. St. Nectarios, 39 Belgrade Ave.
- Register now for Parkway Little League here, the season begins April 13... Also register now for the Parkway Girls Softball League. Registration deadline is March 17, same day as tryouts. .
- The Boston Flower & Garden Show started Wednesday and ends on Sunday. Concern for the environment and enthusiasm for home veggie production have planted “Seeds of Change” in New England’s gardens.
