5 Things: Pause for a Poem During Roslindale Village Holiday Wander

1. Tonight participate in a zumba class at the Roslindale Community Center. 6:30-7:30 p.m. Each class is $10; Groups of two and more $8 dollars per person. Contact Ama Edzie for class information at aedzie@gmail.com.
2. On Thursday is the Holiday Wander - shop, eat and be local! Visit more than 25 of Roslindale’s unique shops and restaurants to take advantage of promotions, events and personal gift advising during the holiday season!
3. Also on Thursday is Pause for a Poem. From 6-6:45 p.m. at Sugar Baking Co & Restaurant, at 7:15-8 p.m. at Select Café you can listen to a holiday reading. Hosted by the Rozzie Reads group of the Friends of the Roslindale Library.
4. Enter your house in Patch's Deck the House contest to win $100,000 for the Boston Public Schools and $500 for your electricity bill.
5. Don't forget Toddler Story Time and Singalong on Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Roslindale Library. Children 5 and younger can enjoy this free event.
