Tonight is a a very important meeting that will impact the future of Roslindale Village with the redevelopment of the Roslindale Substation building at the intersection of Cummins Highway and Washington St. Come and learn about proposed plans from the Boston Redevelopment Authority. The meeting will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 4192 Washington St., Roslindale.
  3. Also today, individuals ages 18 and older can come to Greater Roslindale Medical and Dental Center at 4199 Washington St. from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for free flu shots while supplies last. Walk-in, no appointment is needed.
  4. At today's Boston City Council meeting City Councilors Tito Jackson and Felix Arroyo are calling for a hearing to discuss inclusion of Latino and Asian/Pacific Islander history in Boston Public Schools high school core curriculum. Also, City Councilor John Connolly and Jackson are calling for a hearing to examine the inclusion of African-American history in the core curriculum for Boston Public School high school students. City Hall. Noon.
  5. Also at today's City Council meeting, Councilor Ayanna Pressley is calling for a hearing to investigate liquor license law changes to increase them in the city to spur on the economy.
