- The man who allegedly stabbed someone on the 34E MBTA bus in Roslindale on Sunday was ordered to be held for a 20-day mental evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital.
- On Thursday will be another fun and entertaining Roslindale Village Holiday Wander when businesses stay open later than normal offering discounts, deals, entertainment and more. 5-9 p.m.
- Also on Thursday, Minerva's Owl Boutique will host a performance of the Vadalna Tribal Dance company who will dance The Three Muses, in honor of the Winter Solstice. This is a free event. The Vadalna Tribal Dance company is founded by Roslindale resident, Naraya Ligouri. 7 p.m.
- Also on Thursday, keep the winter lights glowing by joining the Friends of the Roslindale Branch Library for a performance by two Boston based singers. Indie-folk artist Clara Kebabian electric violin, guitar, loops and vocals; and American singer songwriter Thea Hopkins, with accompianist Andy Hollinger. 7:30 p.m. Roslindale Branch Library.
- Boston's Toys for Tickets program runs through today. Any driver issued a non-public safety parking ticket on Boston's streets between Thursday, November 29 and Saturday, December 1, may resolve their ticket by providing a non-violent, unwrapped toy of equal or greater value than the ticket fine. Drivers who would like to participate must bring the parking ticket as well as a receipt for the toy. See here for more info and drop-off locations.
