5 Things You Need to Know Today: October 19

1. Last night was the Taste of Roslindale. Were you there? Share what you thought about the event - what you liked, or what you didn't like.
2. Submit your pet in his or her Halloween costume and you may win a gift card. Also check out the photo gallery of pets in costumes. 
3. On Saturday is the Roslindale Village Farmers' Market at Adams Park from 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
4. On Saturdays at the Roslindale Congregational Church is a class for babies to learn Spanish. An hour of nursery songs, silly games, puppets and story time all in Spanish. You can even practice your own Spanish, too. It's a wonderful way to expose your children to another language and meet other parents looking to do the same. You don’t have to be bilingual only have the desire for your child to learn Spanish. Especially for 24 months and under, but siblings are welcome, and if your child is older please contact Lucy to see if we are expanding. 5. Also at the Roslindale Congregational Church on Saturday night at 7 p.m. is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
