1. Governor Deval Patrick and government officials have warned people to stay inside if possible due to Hurricane Sandy.
2. Boston Public Schools cancelled school today due to Hurricane Sandy.
3. All non-essential city employees are being asked to stay home today.
4. Boston Mayor Menino was hospitalized on Friday with a virus and is expected to staying for several days.
5. Several community centers are open today: Curtis Hall, Hyde Park, Paris Street and Tobin are open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Other community centers will open only in the event of an emergency.
