5 Things: Zumba!; New Roslindale Village Main Street's Executive Director

1. Today there is a Zumba class at the Roslindale Community Center. It's a Latin-inspired dance fitness craze at 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Each class is $10; Groups of two and more, $8 dollars per person. Contact Ama Edzie for class information: aedzie@gmail.com.
2. Today the Boston City Council will meet at noon at City Hall. All meetings are open to the public and are also available on Comcast Channel 51 and on webcast. Noon.
3. On Thursday is Toddler Storytime and Singalong at the Roslindale Library. 10:30-11:30 a.m. 4246 Washington St.
4. Roslindale Village Main Street has a new executive director.
5. Also on Thursday is a BNI Networking Meeting at Sophia Snow Place. 7-8:30 a.m. Complimentary light breakfast. Kevin Hallinan of Winning Inc. Sales Training will speak.
