Woman, Bus Shot with BB Gun in Roslindale

City And Transit Police are investigating the separate incidents. It's unclear whether the two cases are connected.

Who is shooting BB guns in Roslindale?

Boston and Transit Police believe a BB gun was involved in two separate incidents this weekend. According to Transit Police, the first incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday, when two windows on the 35 bus driving along Washington Street. were badly fractured. There were no reported injuries at the time. 

"Officers interviewed the bus operator who informed the officers as he was traveling inbound on Washington Street, in the area of Archdale Road, he observed two individuals standing in a driveway who appeared to be holding a firearm," wrote Transit Police on the department's blog.

According to police, the windows were fractured by BB pellets. Both Transit and city police searched the area but could not find who shot the BB gun.

The second incident occurred Sunday afternoon. A woman contacted police saying something hit her in the face, and she thought it was a BB pellet. This happened in the same area as the previous night's bus shooting.

"At this time we can not relate the two incidents together, however we will work in collaboration with Boston Police and explore that possibility," wrote Transit Police.
