Car Broken Into on Edgemont Street May Be Part of Harassment in Roslindale

The following information is provided by a Boston Police Department police report.

 

An Edgemont Road resident reported her vehicle was broken into and her GPS unit and car cellphone charger were stolen in Roslindale.

On Dec. 9, the victim told Boston Police she left her vehicle the night before after locking it with a key remote. She found it broken into, and she noticed the car's rear passenger door was slightly open, according to a Boston Police report.

The victim told police she believes she is being targeted by an ex, who has been making harassing phone calls to her. She said she recently got a call at her work from him saying he would "have to step it up." 

She told police the man has a fascination with weapons and may have access to them. She said also received a Facebook friend request approximately five days before from an unknown person with the profile having several images of weapons.

The victim told police she has filed a report with her work's security, which has contacted the man to tell him to stop contacting the victim.
