Two of the three suspects charged with burning down an old and vacant McDonald's building in West Roxbury were arraigned on arson charges and posted bail. Denis Florez, 18, of Roslindale, and Mark Collins, 18, of West Roxbury, were arraigned at West Roxbury District Court on Monday, and posted $2,000 cash bail following their arrests. That bail remained in place after Monday's proceedings, meaning it wasn't revoked, according to Suffolk County District Attorney spokesperson Jake Wark. Both suspects are charged with breaking and entering at night with intent to commit a felony and burning a building. The building was located at 1663 VFW Parkway in West Roxbury. Collins allegedly admitted to the trio being in the vacant building and that the fire was started accidentally. The third defendant, James McManus, 19, of West Roxbury, has not yet been arraigned, and was not arrested. But he has been summonsed to court for the same charges. The next court date for Florez and Collins is April 29 at the West Roxbury District Court.
