You are invited to join Roslindale Village Main Street staff, board, volunteers and fellow supporters for our annual meeting! It will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 1 p.m., and it will take place at Saint Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, located at 39 Belgrade Avenue in Roslindale.

This year we are celebrating the installation of Roslindale Village's new public art sculpture, "Traffic" by George Greenamyer. The dedication ceremony will be the highlight of the annual meeting and will include a live performance of a composition inspired by "Traffic" and written by Berklee College of Music's Interdisciplinary Arts Institute students Andrew Ikenberry and Jason Lim, using "found sound" from George's studio, the traffic island, and several Roslindale Village shops.

George will talk about his sculpture and Mayor Thomas M. Menino has been invited to speak. Members of the RVMS Board of Directors will recap our accomplishments of 2012 and discuss future plans for the betterment of the Roslindale community.

We will also be honoring Glenn Williams, who has decided to resign from the RVMS Board of Directors. He is a past president of RVMS, has been on the board for 18 years, was the sound engineer and MC for countless RVMS events, and delighted all as a tireless community leader.

Register here.

Sincerely,

Steve Gag, President, Board of Directors
