Farquhar Street Home Robbed in Roslindale

Two jewelry boxes with items valued around $10,000 were stolen.

 

A Farquhar Street residence was broken into and approximately $10,000 worth of jewelry was stolen.

On Dec. 1 around 2:51 p.m., Boston Police were called to 79 Farquhar Street for a possible breaking and entering in progress. A resident said he had just gotten home and saw his rear door had been broken into, and was unsure if anyone was still inside.

Police cleared the scene without finding any suspects.

The victim told police that two jewelry boxes that had been on top of his bureau were missing. In the boxes had been about 20 items including gold and silver watches, gold and diamond rings, along with gold cufflinks, according to a Boston Police report.

Officers noted the rear door was broken, a pillow case had been taken, and one watch case had been dropped and left on the bed.
