Hebrew Rehabilitation Center Golden Troubadours Perform
Concert features songs from Elvis, The Beatles, and more

The Golden Troubadours, a choir group at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center-Roslindale, held their second annual concert. The concert featured a wide range of songs, including “Do-Re-Mi” from “The Sound of Music” and “Sunrise, Sunset” from “Fiddler on the Roof.” Their repertoire also included several classics from performers like Elvis Presley and the Beatles and Russian songs like “Dark Eyes” performed by Russian-speaking choir members.
The event took place almost one year to the day of the inaugural performance. Music Therapist Alex Spyropoulou, MT-BC, says the group has grown substantially in just a year. “It’s been truly wonderful to see how much the group has grown since then, not just in members but also in confidence and the strong sense of community we’ve built together,” says Spyropoulou.
Patients received celebratory roses for their successful performance and received loud applause from their fellow patients, family members, staff, and volunteers in the crowd.
