How Many Calls Did Boston's Emergency Management Receive for Roslindale?

More than half the calls about Roslindale were for "tree emergencies."

The phones are no longer ringing off the hook at the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management department.

As of 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the department had received:

85 total calls from Roslindale

Some calls are still active throughout the city while crews continue moving some of the larger trees, said Christina Maryland of the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management.

A "tree emergency" is when a tree has fallen and is obstructing a roadway, or fallen on powerlines, sometimes it is one in the same.
