While on patrol officers observed a vehicle make a right turn onto Seymour Street from Rowe Avenue without using a turning signal, according to a Boston Police report. The driver, Sanders, then made an abrupt stop and pulled over at 61 Seymour St. Officers approached the vehicle and recognized Jordan, and knew he was wanted. He was removed from the vehicle without incident.
The driver, Sanders, said the vehicle was rented from an Enterprise location in Cambridge by his girlfriend, who he alleged had given him permission to drive it, according to a Boston Police report. Police recovered an Enterprise rental agreement, which said it was rented in Mattapan, not Cambridge, as the suspect had said, and it said only a person, the same name the suspect said was his girlfriend, was to operate the vehicle.
