Roslindale Acupuncturist Offering Open House Community Healing Sessions

Roslindale acupuncturist Karen Kirchoff is offering several open house hours for community healing.

The Pet Cabaret's posted on its Facebook page on behalf of Kirchoff, "In support of individual and community healing following the traumatic events in Boston... Acupuncture and Herbs at 16 Cohasset St. ... will hold several open house hours for community healing." 

Everyone is welcome on a drop-in basis, and donations are welcome, but not required. Sessions will last for 20 to 30 minutes.

Ear acupuncture or reiki sessions will be offered by local practitioners to help with shock, stress, anxiety, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and general support, wrote Kirchoff.

Acupuncture needles will be inserted in specific ear points while seated in a quiet circle with others. Reiki healing will be administered while seated, or laying down. You can choose either acupuncture or reiki when you arrive.

Open house hours for community ear acupuncture or reiki are scheduled for:
Wed., April 17, 5-7 p.m.; Thur., April 18, 6:30-8 p.m.; Sat., April 20, 1-3 p.m., and Tues., April 23, 8:45-10 a.m.
