A Roslindale man was arrested on a warrant including charges for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest in Dorchester after Boston Police recognized the suspect. On March 8 around 9 p.m., Matthew Allen Thompson, of 25 Amherst Lane #3, Roslindale, was arrested on a default warrant issued on Oct. 26, 2012, out of West Roxbury District Court for operation of a motor vehicle aftera license suspension, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and resisting arrest. The suspect was arrested on-site at Talbot Avenue and Whitfield Street in Dorchester.
